iPhone XI would have the best in-display fingerprint reader in the world

What's surprising is that the latest information published about iPhone XI comes directly from Apple. It's not that Cupertino's company has revealed any details about this phone, but a new patent shows a very interesting screen print reader that could also be integrated into the iPhone XI.
The bombastic name of the technology is already interesting, and the patent registered under number 10,275,638 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is even more interesting, and bears the official name "biometric imaging methods of entry surfaces".
This technology would emulate the on-screen biometric readers we already see on several Android phones, however, the big difference would be that users could place their finger anywhere on the screen to unlock the device, something we have not seen so far on any other phone on the market.
This technology makes use of transducers that are configured to generate acoustic outputs, so an image of the fingerprint will be taken and the acoustic wave will transmit it through the screen until it is taken to the fingerprint reader, where it will make the comparison with the copy stored in the device and then unlock the phone.
The patent mentions that this system would be safe for users, although it does not mention how fast this system could work, but the process should not take more than 1 second to make the fingerprint comparison.
The fact that Apple has patented the idea does not mean that we will see it on the iPhone XI, but because Android devices are incorporating this feature it is likely that the company Cupertino is ready to return the Touch ID to its line of phones, all without abandoning the famous Face ID.
