JBL updates L100 Classic: what it looked like half a century ago
By Fields Corrielus 2019-07-01 346 0
Although today's JBL focuses on wireless technology for civilian products, it has not forgotten the meritorious models that made the JBL brand, and updated the L100 Classic with modern technology.
The new L100 Classic features a 12-inch paper basin bass unit, a 5-inch paper basin midrange unit, and a 1-inch titanium treble unit.
The design, which is almost the same as it was when it was released in 1970, still uses the iconic foam checkered front net as a mezzo-treble attenuator-a design that, though no different from about 50 years ago, is quite modern today. Should it be "retro" or "avant-garde"?
The new JBL L100 Classic sells for $4000 (27460 yuan).
