Kingston launches HyperX Cloud Alpha S gaming headset: with virtual 7.1 surround sound

The Cloud Alpha S headset is basically the same design as the previous one, and is as comfortable to wear; it uses the same audio hardware as the previous one, including the dual-cavity driver. But HyperX says that they have been fine-tuned and the sound will be better. There is also a new bass slider behind the earphone that allows you to adjust the bass while wearing the headset. In addition, the headset adds 7.1 virtual surround sound through a wired audio control box; similar to some of HyperX's other headphones, the headset also comes with separate volume control chat and game audio buttons.

Finally, Kingston HyperX will launch the Cloud Alpha S headset in September this year for $129.99.
