MediaTek Dimensity 1000 ARM 5G chip: features

The MediaTek Dimensity 1000 ARM 5G is manufactured in 7nm and formed by 4x Cortex-A77 @ 2.60 GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 @ 2.00 GHz.

The graphic subsystem is made on the controller ARM Mali-G77 MC9; displays with a resolution up to 2520 x 1080 pixels are supported. The chip also contains an advanced AI Processing Unit (APU 3.0), which provides 4.5 trillion operations per second (TOPS) performance.

Dimensity 1000 5G platform provides support for LPDDR4x-1866 RAM up to 16 Gbytes. There are Wi-Fi 6 (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, FM tuner. The devices on the new processor can be equipped with a camera with a resolution of up to 80 million pixels or a dual camera in a configuration of 32 million + 16 million pixels.

The integrated 5G modem deserves special attention. It provides support for 5G networks with non-autonomous (NSA) and autonomous (SA) architectures in the frequency range below 6 GHz. The declared data download speed can reach 4.7 Gbit/s, and the data transmission speed towards the base station is 2.5 Gbit/s. This is the first time in the industry that Dual 5G SIM mode has been implemented. Of course, previous generations of networks are supported: CDMA2000 1x/EVDO Rev. A (SRLTE), EDGE, 4G FDD/TDD, GSM, TD-SCDMA, WDCDMA.

MediaTek Dimensity 1000 ARM 5G chip: AnTuTu benchmark score

The MediaTek Dimensity 1000 ARM 5G chip is now starting to be tested. A first result obtained with the Antutu tool comes to put in check all the competition. The MediaTek Dimensity 1000 achieved a combined score of 511,363.
