Microsoft at E3 2019: High expectations by Halo Infinite on PC, Xbox Next and Cyberpunk 2077

There have been several reports and speculations about the possible topics on the Microsoft E3 keynote, which starts on 9 June at 10 pm. The fact is that all eyes are on Microsoft, because the classic "big players" Sony and EA do not have a press conference this year at the most important games fair of the year. Sony completely skips the E3, EA tries it with smaller, game-related livestreams. A fresh assessment of what can be expected from Microsoft is now coming from a well known source.
Halo Infinite: Gameplay demo on the PC
Brad Sams from the website Thurrot.com, a well-known Microsoft insider, has written a longer article on the subject. In it some topics are taken up, which were already subject of rumors. Interesting for Thurrot are the references to Halo Infinite . According to the author the Next-Gen-Halo is really shown for the first time and Microsoft does not want to make any compromises with the optics. Therefore, the gameplay demo should not be presented on an Xbox, but on the PC. The Xbox feeling should be conveyed by the use of an Xbox controller. The fact that Halo Infinite is shown on the PC fits well to earlier statements of the developer 343 Industries. So the underlying Slipstream-Engine should have been developed with the PC in the back of the head, Windows users should be treated beyond that as "players of first class".
Microsoft itself had already confirmed in the form of Phil Spencer that during the E3 keynote record-breaking 14 games from its own Microsoft Game Studios will be shown. In addition, third party partners will also have a very strong presence during E3-PK. The focus here will of course be on Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red, which has an enormous pulling power. Just the new gameplay trailer and the information spread, such as release dates and pre-order options, should be enough to watch the Microsoft PK. Also Borderlands 3 should get an appearance.
At least three new brands are expected at Microsoft Game Studios. Which these are, is so far unclear. Very hot candidates are the studios Ninja Theory, Inxile, Obsidian and Playground Games. There will also be news about the Age of Empires and Fable brands.
Not to forget the two hardware topics Xbox Next and Project Xcloud - the author of Thurrot.com expects basic information about Xbox Lockhart (Low End) and Xbox Anaconda (High End). Expected are information about SSD, Navi graphics, Zen-2-CPU, downward compatibility and improvements in graphics and gameplay from older Xbox games.
