Nokia X71, the first phone with perforated screen and triple camera
By Linky Johnson 2019-04-22 714 0
With Snapdragon 660 and 6 GB of RAM, it comes to replace the previous Nokia X7 in the company's mid-range, which uses this numbering in China. It is not clear whether Europe will end up becoming the Nokia 6.2 or a Nokia 8.1 Plus. Time will tell.
Screen for TIME
The position of Nokia with respect to the notch is not very clear. It is not present in the last Nokia 9 Pureview, but yes in Nokia 5.1 and 6.1 Plus, but not in Nokia 3.1 Plus. With the Nokia X71 it touches again that no: the front camera is in a hole inside the screen, to Huawei Nova 4.
The hole in question is on the left side of the screen and hides a camera for 16 MP selfies with F/2.0 aperture. The display itself is 6.3 inches, Full HD + and a new aspect ratio of 19.3:9. The screen/body ratio calculated by the company is 93%.
Three cameras on the back
The photographic power is signed by Carl Zeiss, with the invaluable help of artificial intelligence. There are three lenses in total: The main 48 MP, with Aperture of f/1.8 and a pixel size of 1.6 μm. It is accompanied by an 8 MP camera with a wide angle of 120 degrees and a third of 5 megapixels for depth measurements.
On this occasion, the lenses are distributed vertically, centered on the phone and just above the fingerprint reader, which is on the back. Artificial intelligence has a hand in automatic scene recognition for every situation.
Snapdragon 660 and 6 GB of RAM
The performance is in charge of the popular Snapdragon 660 with four cores to 2.2 GHz and four to 1.8 GHz. At the moment there is a single version, which includes 6 GB of RAM and a storage of 128 GB expandable by means of microSD cards.
As for the battery, there are not many surprises and we have about 3,500 mAh capacity. It is not much for the times that run, but at least they complement with fast loading to 18W and, remember, it works with Android One, which usually give the battery more than some layers.
Versions, prices of Nokia X71
The Nokia X71 has been presented in China, but for the moment it is not for sale, but they have enabled a form so you can receive information as soon as it can be purchased. There is also no information about colors available, although in all the product photos it appears in black color.
Nokia uses X-numbering only in China, so this terminal may be presented internationally under another name in the coming weeks. Some possible names that are shuffled are Nokia 6.2 or Nokia 8.1 Plus.
