OPPO F11 Pro: Periscope and front all screen

By  Linky Johnson 2019-04-23 508 0

After filtering on more than one occasion, the OPPO F11 Pro has been officially presented. The Chinese company, part of the BBK conglomerate and sister of OnePlus and Vivo, has today shown in India its new mid-range terminal, a device that, beyond its specifications and design, gives us an advance of what we could expect from the next OnePlus 7.

Adhering to the OPPO F11 Pro, it is a device that bets on the photographic experience and the RAM memory, assembling a double camera with sensor of 48 megapixels and 6 GB of RAM, as well as the fast charging technology owner of the company, VOOC 3.0.

No Notch but yes Periscope

Starting with the aesthetic section, the most striking is its frontal, occupied almost in its entirety (90.9%, according to the manufacturer) by the screen. This is a 6.5 inch LCD LTPS with FullHD + resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) which, as it can be checked, has no notch or hole. The reason is that the inner chamber has been placed in a periscope located in the upper edge in the style of the vivid NEX. That, however, does not prevent the chin from the lower area.

If we turn the terminal we will see a back with crystallized finish in two colors, Thunder Black (black) and Aurora Green (green), both holographic, ie, that change color depending on how you light. In the back of the OPPO F11 Pro we find the module with the double rear camera and the LED flash and, under it, the optical fingerprint reader.

MediaTek processor under the arm and three cameras in total

If we take a look at the inside of the device, we find an engine composed of 6 GB of RAM and the processor MediaTek Helio P70, a SoC of 12 nanometers that would be the  "economic alternative " of the Snapdragon 675. It consists of eight nuclei (4x Cortex A73 and 4x Cortex A53) at a maximum speed of 2.1 GHz, as well as a Mali G72 GPU with a speed of 900 MHz.

It has also added a proprietary system called Hyper Boost that allows you to accelerate the performance of the terminal. OPPO has put some examples, like that Facebook takes 31% less to open, it takes 27% less to return to the home screen and manages to maintain a rate of frames per second high stable in the games.

The operating system is Android 9 foot with customization layer of OPPO, Color OS 6.0
As for internal storage, we have 64 GB expandable by microSD cards. The battery is up to 4,000 mAh and will have VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology, 20% faster than the original version.

Regarding the photographic section, the rear camera has a 48 megapixel sensor with Apertutra f/1.79,  "Artificial intelligence algorithms " and a multiframe photography system to optimize the taking of photographs, especially in the night field. The secondary sensor is five megapixels with aperture F/2.4 and it is a ToF to measure the depth.

Oppo F11 Pro Periscope

The internal camera, which is located in the folding periscope of the upper edge, is left in 16 megapixels and automatically unfolds when we open the camera and select the option of selfies, ie a system similar to the OPPO Find X or the live NEX. According to the company, the durability of this system is up to 100 daily activations for six years.

Versions and prices of OPPO F11 Pro

As we said before, the OPPO F11 Pro will come in two colors. It will be released on March 15th at a price of 24,990 Indian rupees, which come to be 312 euros. The firm has not spoken about its availability in the international market.
