The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is equipped with a periscope camera, which has a focal length of 130 mm and thus offers a 5x optical zoom. From then on, the other two sensors are switched on to provide up to 10x hybrid zoom - hence the name of the smartphone.
In addition, the Reno 10x Zoom has so far offered a 20x digital zoom with a corresponding loss of quality. But with the latest update for its flagship smartphone, Oppo is on top of it, raising its zoom capability to a 60x zoom, giving the camera a focal length of 1,560mm.
Using the same technique that Huawei uses with the P30 Pro, which features a 125mm periscope lens and up to 50x digital zoom capable of reproducing a focal length of 1250mm. Therefore, the Reno 10x Zoom offers a larger zoom, but no better picture quality.

OPPO's sister company Vivo also plans to launch iQOO smartphones with similar functions in India in June. Of course, the OnePlus 7 series is also coming soon, so we can expect a range of affordable flagship stores in the Indian market.
