After weeks of comparison with Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme 3 Pro was officially announced in India. The successor of Realme 2 Pro (and not Realme 3) was designed to attract with its performance, cameras and price, in addition to the design that mixes contour lines and gradient-which, according to Realme, was inspired by the curves of a racetrack.

The device features a 6.3-inch Full HD + LCD display with a small waterdrop style notch and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by a 710 Snapdragon chipset, which Realme says is better than the Snapdragon 675 in Redmi Note 7 Pro, along with options between 4GB and 6GB of RAM. Buyers will also have the option to choose up to 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to up to 256GB.

For photography, the Realme 3 Pro is equipped with two 16MP + 5MP cameras at the rear. The primary sensor is a Sony IMX519-the same as the OnePlus 6T. Using software optimizations, the smartphone can also capture images at 64MP, and the secondary sensor is useful for depth detection. Meanwhile, there is a 25MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The camera is capable of 64MP "Ultra HD" images, consisting of four 16MP photos, plus video modes that include 4K recording with EIS and 960fps slow motion.

Another attractive aspect of Realme 3 Pro is the support for the OPPO's VOOC charging to 20W.  Realme says that this should allow users to reload the battery from 4.045 mAh in just over 1 hours. At the same time, Snapdragon 710 is considered an aid in storing standby battery.

One of the features that Realme has also been highlighting is the ability of Realme 3 Pro to run the Fortnite Mobile, which is something that Xiaomi is still evaluating for REDMI Note 7 Pro. The smartphone also runs PUBG at high settings by default.

The Realme 3 Pro will come in two variants-4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB-which will cost 13.999 and 16.999 Indian rupees respectively (approximately $200 and $245). It will be available in three colors-Carbon Gray, Nitro Blue and Lighting Purple-and can be purchased via Flipkart from the midday of April 29th. With HDFC credit or debit card, buyers will receive a direct discount from 1,000 Indian rupees.

Even though it's recent, Realme poses a challenge to Xiaomi since her arrival in India. Despite having about a year, the company gained pace very quickly and achieved successful sales figures-2 million of Realme 2 Pro units in two months and half a million units of Realme 3 in three weeks.

Now, Realme aims to disrupt the growth and popularity of Xiaomi with Realme 3 Pro, which is a direct competitor to REDMI Note 7 Pro.
