The Redmi Note 7 was released in January, 2019. Now, Xiaomi has officially announced that they will release the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro on August 29 in China. According to the latest leaks and rumors, the Redmi Note 8 will offer some significant upgrades including the 64MP quad rear cameras, MediaTek Helio G90T process and large 4500mAh battery. It has been confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 will adopt 64MP quad rear cameras with Samsung’s largest pixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, which offer better, vibrant and unprecedentedly detailed images. Meanwhile, it will offer a 32MP selfie camera. Compared to the 48MP dual rear cameras and 13MP front camera on the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the new successor Redmi Note 8 will offer users much better camera performance.

The Redmi Note 8 will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G90T processor. The Helio G90T is an octa-core processor newly introduced last month, which adopts MediaTek's HyperEngine game technology to odder enhanced gaming experience on smartphones. The maximum clock speed of the Helio G90T can reach 2.05GHz.

Meanwhile, the Helio G90T offers better gaming experience for smartphones. So it is expected that the Redmi Note 8 will perform better in running speed and gaming performance than Redmi Note 7 Pro.
