Exynos 9609 specfications
Like the 9610, the Exynos 9609 is based on a 10nm FinFET process and features an eight-core design that includes a high-performance 4x2.2 GHz Cortex A73 core + 4x1 low-power core, 6 GHz Cortex A53. The Mali-G72 ARM assumes its role as GPU.
On the other hand, the Exynos 9609 is equipped with a neural network mechanism, which can recognize images through machine learning and supports intelligent depth perception technology. With this, a single camera can be used to capture photos and can also get the depth of field effect.
According to the official announcement, the Samsung Exynos 9609 supports configurations with 16 MP + 16 MP sensors, or a single 24MP sensor camera with support for 4K 60 FPS video recording.
For wireless connectivity, the Exynos 9609 supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo and other global positioning systems.
It also supports LTE cat.12 download speed of 600 Mbps and upload speed of 150 Mbps. The Exynos 9609 supports LPDDR4 memory combined with LPDDR4x memory, and Exynos 9610 supports only the latter.
Exynos 9609 vs Exynos 9610: there are some differences
The specifications of the 9609 are similar to those of the Exynos 9610, but the maximum speed of the watch is only slightly less. The Exynos 9610 can operate at 2.3 GHz and 1.7 GHz, respectively, for four Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores, while the Exynos 9609 works better at 2.2 GHz and 1.7 GHz. However, the rest of the specifications may look similar to the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, the WQXGA screen (2560 × 1600), Cat.12 LTE connectivity, UFS 2.1 storage support and eMMC 5.1, but you will see more.
The Exynos 9609 supports more efficient LPDDR4x memory with LPDDR4 memory, while the 9610 is compatible with the latter. There is no support for Super Slow-mo video recording mentioned on the Samsung website, but the Exynos 9610 Galaxy
A50 is not compatible. The Exynos 9609 is also 4K better than the Exynos 9610. The 9610 can encode and decode 4K video at 120 frames per second (fps), and the 9609 encodes at a maximum of 60 fps. When it comes to manufacturing, both chips are based on Samsung's 10nm FinFET process.
In addition, the Exynos 9610 is ahead of the 9609 generation as the subject matter is Ultra HD. The former can encode and decode 4K video at 120 frames per second, while the latter manages only 60 FPS.
