Samsung Galaxy A20: new family of Samsung A series

At the beginning of this year, Samsung is playing the big game. Beautiful achievements at the top of the range, with the Galaxy Fold in particular. A wider range of mid-range terminals with Galaxy M and Galaxy A. And this should continue in the coming weeks as rumours have it that the company has planned around ten models for the A family. We already knew three of them: the Galaxy A10, A30 and A50, unveiled in recent weeks.
A series that is growing stronger
Here is another one: the Galaxy A20, now officialized by Samsung's Russian subsidiary. This mobile is the missing link between the Galaxy A10 and the Galaxy A30. Its technical data sheet is a clever mix between these two phones: a chipset from one, a screen from the other, etc. There is only for photography for the Galaxy A20 distinguishes itself from these two brothers.
The main source of inspiration is the Galaxy A30. And that's pretty good news. The Galaxy A20 is equipped with its 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. However, the definition is not the same, since this tile is HD+ and not Full HD+. The resolution is therefore 268 pixels per inch. Like the A10 and A30, the A20 has a V-shaped notch to accommodate the webcam. Another inspiration of the Galaxy A30 is the battery. It offers a capacity of 4000 mAh, a promise of a beautiful autonomy. No quick loading, however.
Much better equipped than the Galaxy A10
Other similarities with the A30, the A20 has a fingerprint reader on the back, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. To date, there is only one possible configuration. But this could evolve depending on local announcements. Finally, like the Galaxy A30, the Galaxy A20 has a dual photo sensor. The main sensor comes from the Galaxy A10, a 13 megapixel model with f/1.9 lens and standard autofocus. The secondary sensor is inherited from the Galaxy A30, a 5 megapixel model that calculates depths.
At the front, the webcam is a standard 8 megapixel model with a lens opening at f/2.0. The whole system shoots in 1080p at 30 frames per second. The chipset comes from the Galaxy A10: it is the Exynos 7884 Octa, a relatively recent low-cost chipset with a clock rate of up to 1.6 GHz. It is used to run Android 9.0 Pie, hidden behind Samsung's interface. The general equipment of the phone is quite classic, with Bluetooth, LTE, WiFI, GPS, FM radio, 3.5 mm jack and microUSB port. The Galaxy A20 was first announced for Russia. It will be sold there for 13,990 rubles, or about 192 euros.
