Sony WH-XB900N Wireless Headphones with Extra Bass: New Rival for Beats?

One of our preferred wireless headset manufacturers is, without a doubt, Sony. Already when we had the opportunity to test the Sony WH-1000MX3, it became clear to us that the manufacturer offers truly complete solutions. And now, it has decided to expand its Extra Bass line to continue competing with Beats.

To this end, the Japanese firm has just introduced its new Sony WH-XB900N wireless headset with ANC noise cancellation, in addition to the Sony SRS-XB402M Bluetooth loudspeaker. Two solutions that come to attack where Beats hurts the most: the bass

It's a fact that Apple-owned Beats offers a range of wireless headphones that stand out for maximizing bass so the end user can enjoy powerful sound. And Sony's idea is that its Extra Bass line faces its great rival.

This is the new Sony WH-XB900N wireless headset

For starters, they feature a Sony WH-1000MX3-style design, as well as the same noise-cancelling technology that will delight users, delivering crisp sound and no external distortions.

And yes, in addition to offering the same sound quality as the above model, the new Sony WH-XB900N Bluetooth headset features much more powerful bass.

On the other hand, say they have a dedicated button that will allow us to use the main voice assistants: Alexa Siri and Google Assistant are compatible with this new solution from the firm based in Tokyo.

In terms of autonomy, we have a product that will meet the expectations of any user: the Sony WH-XB900N wireless headset offers up to 30 hours of uninterrupted music. Considering the incredible battery offered by the WH-1000MX3, we can think that the company does not lie to confirm that the autonomy of the XB900N will be inexhaustible.

The best? That this model has a rapid charge system so that, in just 10 minutes, we have an hour of music. Ideal for those days when you have forgotten to charge your wireless headset and have to leave home as soon as possible.

As for the price and launch date of these wireless headphones, say that the sony WH-XB900N will reach the European market in July at a price of 269 euros, a reasonable figure if we take into account that they will have the same sound quality as the WH-1000MX3, while boosting the bass.

The new Sony SRS-XB402M wireless speaker will be the soul of every party

As if wireless headphones weren't enough, Sony has decided to stand up to Beats by introducing a Bluetooth speaker that will also be part of the Extra Bass family to deliver a scandalous bass.

We are talking about the Sony SRS-XB402M, a device that has different speakers in the angles of the equipment to provide a much wider sound. It also has a frame made of hybrid material that reduces distortion, getting a cleaner and cleaner sound.

On the other hand, the Sony SRS-XB402M wireless speaker has dual passive radiators to provide bass that will delight the most demanding users. And yes, it also has support for you to use Alexa as a voice assistant.

Its price? 279 euros and will also come throughout the month of July.
