Design
Tevo Tarantula 3D printer is an unassembled 3D printer coming in kit form. It offers an engraving area of 200 x 200 x 200mm, which is perfect for small and medium-sized objects printing. Equipped with full metal extruder (E3D) and solid anodized aluminum plates, the printer is strong and stable enough to fit for most printing conditions. And there is an LCD screen for your easy and quick navigation.
Printing quality
The Tevo Tarantula comes with a large print area, a heated print bed, and an onboard control panel. There is a single nozzle with 0.4mm diameters. Thanks to the Bowden extruder and high positioning accuracy (Z-axis: 0.004mm, XY-axis: 0.012mm), you will be able to print objects at a very high speed (150mm/s) without compromising quality.
Besides, one of the highlights of Tevo Tarantula is its heating plate. The heating plate temperature is capable of reaching 120℃. That means you can use more filament types even requiring high temperature, such as ABS, and let alone other materials, such as flexible PLA, Nylon, PETG, PLA, PVC, Wood. While you don't need to worry about the high printing temperature, as the MKS base mainboard supports dual extruder fan for mainboard cooling.
On top of that, the Tevo Tarantula 3D printer supports SD card offline print, so you don't have to stay online and connect it to your PC, a simple SD card will upload all your files to the printer. Note that, the supported file formats include G-code, STL. Meanwhile, it's also no problem for you to connect the 3D printer to your laptops or other devices, as it supports three main OS: Windows, Linux, Mac.
Tevo Tarantula 3D printer assembly
Assembling the Tevo Tarantula may be a little difficult and time consuming, and it even needs some substantial modifications and upgrades to work properly, but the step-by-step user manual will be very easy for you to follow. And through the hand building process, you must have a better understanding of the 3D printer.
