The Redmi K20 Pro is everything the Pocophone F2 should be

The Redmi K20 Pro is another economic power of the Chinese brand that, like the Pocophone F1 (or Little F1 in selected markets), offers top-level specifications for a ridiculously low price.
Never settle
With OnePlus taking tentative steps in the ultra-premium smartphone sector with OnePlus 7 Pro, the mantle of the "killer badge" is once again at stake. Xiaomi is in a privileged position to snatch the title with a second-year offer from Pocophone. Here's why the Redmi K20 Pro would be the perfect model.
For many, bringing the specifications of the elite of the 2019 era to a functional and economical phone would be enough to make the Pocophone F2 a tempting proposition and a worthy follow-up. But if the Redmi K20 is really a teaser of things to come, then the next Pocophone could take things a step further.
Become fashionable
Despite its incredible raw specifications and excellent price / performance ratio, the Pocophone F1 lacked a surprise factor. Its design was not inspiring, the camera was not satisfactory, and the Poco Launcher / MIUI software combo left a lot to be desired. The Redmi K20 Pro responds to most of these criticisms by intelligently adopting all of today's most current industry trends.
Compared to the opaque plastic backing of the Pocophone F1, the Redmi K20 Pro has a curved glass back with an amazing holographic effect in the blue and red / purple variants. The unsightly notch of the Pocophone F1 has also gone, with the K20 Pro opting for a screen with almost no bezel with just a small chin.
Full-screen viewing is possible thanks to an emerging selfie camera, which seems to be quickly overtaking the drilling hole as the industry's preferred alternative, at least for the time being. Meanwhile, the rear camera copies the increasingly popular configuration of the triple, wide-angle, telephoto camera we've seen on so many phones in 2019. To top it off, the Redmi K20 Pro has a fingerprint sensor on the screen too.
In addition to all these striking new features, the Redmi K20 Pro retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, has fast charging support and a cooling system to keep the phone running smoothly while playing, all that the Pocophone F1 offers. The only potential obstacle is the software, but we will have to wait and see if Xiaomi can take advantage of the little improvements of the Poco Launcher in the always divisive aspect of MIUI.
Is the Redmi K20 Pro the Pocophone F2?
If you believe that some of the speculation that comes out of China, it might well turn out that the redmi K20 Pro reality is the Pocophone F2. Chinese brands have the habit of launching the same phones under different names in global markets and the rumor seems quite convinced that the K20 Pro will be called Pocophone.
Whether or not this is the case, the K20 Pro should be the Pocophone F2. Xiaomi has a unique opportunity to consolidate the Pocophone as the flagship brand of the flagship killer and the seemingly perfect design, features, hardware and price of the Redmi K20 Pro would make it an ideal successor.
