Top 11- best Xiaomi smartphones in 2019

Nicknamed "the Chinese Apple", Xiaomi set out to conquer Europe. The brand, created in 2010, is known for offering products with a very good price/quality ratio. It should attract French consumers looking for good deals.
While some of the Xiaomi smartphones are already available on online sales sites such as Gearbest, its official launch in France means that all its models will be in French and in their international version.
Xiaomi owns three physical stores in Paris (30/32 avenue des Champs-Elysées, Forum des Halles and 39 Blvd Sébastopol) and one based in Ile-de-France, Velizy 2.
In other French cities, you will find the brand's smartphones mainly at Fnac and Darty.
If you want to buy a Xiaomi online, then go to the official Mi website, or to SFR, Bouygues and the retailers (Fnac, Darty, Boulanger, Amazon France, Cdiscount, Materiel.Net, etc.)
It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi smartphones are Android phones with an "overlay" called MIUI. This means that if you are used to using a pure Android, you will notice some differences in presentation between the two.
1. Xiaomi Mi
Price: Price TBC
A monster speed, a magnificent design with a price-quality ratio, to date, unequalled on the market, the Mi 9 is a superb phone that you can't ignore.
What makes it different from the Mi 8? The integration of the fingerprint sensor on the screen, Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 855 processor, 20W wireless charging technology, and a triple AI camera that includes a 48 Mp sensor.
2. Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro
At less than 600 €, the Mi 8 Pro is incredible. It is powerful (Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 845 AIE), has the same high-performance camera as the Mi 8, and has a 6.21-inch AMOLED display that includes a fingerprint reader.
On the design side, it is a Xiaomi, with rounded edges and a transparent shell. In our opinion, it is a versatile device that is much cheaper than an iPhone.
3. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
The Mi Mix 3 is a superb sliding phone with a dual selfi sensor hidden behind the screen. This system provides a full screen display and faster access to the phone.
In addition, Mi Mix 3 is a small update of the 2S, and even loses the bling bling side of its predecessor, whose photo sensor is surrounded by 18-carat gold. However, it is still an excellent phone sold at an incredible price.
In addition, its processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 845) is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage space (not expandable), which is quite generous.
4. Xiaomi Mi8
An amazing price, stunning performance, impressive picture quality, an 18.7:9 AMOLED display larger than ever and a new 3D facial recognition feature are just some of the reasons why you should buy the Mi 8.
We would still have liked it to be compatible with wireless charging, waterproof and have a Quad-HD display. We regret that the fingerprint reader embedded in the screen is exclusive to the Explorer edition.
5. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S
We are big fans of Xiaomi's Mi Mix range. The latest model to be released, the Mi Mix 2S, is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It is also faster, thanks to its Snapdragon 835 processor.
The design of the phone has been refined but we regret that, to do so, the battery life has been shortened and the Jack plug has disappeared.
The Mi Mix 2S is a fantastic mid-range phone
6. Xiaomi Pocophone F1
With the F1 Pocophone, Xiaomi has done a remarkable job. It is a high quality smartphone at a competitive price. It could have been thinner and lighter, but the design remains elegant and attractive.
If you like the Mi8 but your budget doesn't allow you to buy it, then choose the Pocophone F1.
7. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite
Price: Approx $270
The Mi 8 Lite is a mid-range phone with an excellent price-quality ratio, a magnificent design and very suitable technical features, especially in the field of photography.
On the battery side, the Mi 8 Lite will hold you at about 6:30 am, which is one hour longer than the A2. In addition, it is compatible with Quick Charge 3.
8. Xiaomi Mi A2
The integration of Android One on Xiaomi phones makes it much easier for French users to use them.
If you're looking for an incredible smartphone, at a lower price, then go no further, the Mi A2 is for you.
We were amazed by its quality of construction, its display, its triple photo module, and its overall performance. In our opinion, it is the best cheap smartphone of the moment.
9. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite
Price: Aprrox $200
The Mi A2 Lite is a superb smartphone for less than 200 €. It adopts a high-end design with a 19:9 screen, two rear photo sensors and decent performance.
The storage space is quite generous, and we appreciate that it is possible to increase it up to 256 GB (via a microSD card), without sacrificing dual-SIM support. It's an excellent smartphone at a low price.
10. Xiaomi Mi Note 3
Mi Note 3 is a slight downgrade compared to Mi6, and perhaps even Mi Note 2.
However, its price is lower and it benefits from a very attractive premium design. If you only make basic use of your smartphone, then its Snapdragon 660 processor will do the trick.
Also note that its dual photo sensor is more than satisfactory.
Its only disadvantage would be that you would have to install the Play Store yourself.
11. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5
The Redmi Note 5 is a phone with a very large screen, a battery with superb battery life, decent performance, a dual photo sensor, and it is sold at a rather affordable price.
However, it has some disadvantages, such as its micro-USB port (only compatible with Quick Charge 2.0), the absence of NFC technology and its partly plastic design. However, it is still one of the best and cheapest smartphones.
