TurboGrafx has introduced the TurboGrafx-16 min in the E3 2019

They pull on our memories. That saying that a time past was better becomes more important when we talk about sales. The revival pulls and if yesterday we saw how Atari VSC took advantage of it with its market launch, now it is time to do so by making reference to another mythical brand such as TurboGrafx via Konami.

Nostalgia sells and does well

Who hasn't longed to have a TurboGrafx or a NeoGeo in his younger years. They were not within reach of most of the mortals who were satisfied with an NES or a Master System or perhaps, a little later, a Super NES or a Mega Drive.

And taking advantage of the nostalgia and what the nostalgia of those years sells, Konami, the mother company, returns to the market with a new console. Announced in the E3 2019, TurboGrafx has introduced the TurboGrafx-16 mini. A machine that arrives inspired by the movement that Nintendo skillfully initiated with the NES Mini.

The TurboGrafx label travels back in time since 1989 with the TurboGrafx-16 mini, a machine that for now we only know some of the games it will include in its launch:

For now there is no more data or reference to the price or date of launch, so we will have to be attentive to new announcements. Also, depending on the country of launch, the machine will receive different names and various designs and so in Europe we will know it as PC Engine Core Grafx Mini and in Japan as PC Engine Mini.
