Will Huawei Mate 30 series smartphones support 5G?

Richard Yu is known to be extremely loquacious and he has proved it once again by evoking several months in advance the next high-end device of his company.
While the P30 and P30 Pro are currently at the center of all attentions, Huawei has started working on its next line of phablets.
Will the Mate 30 focus on 5G?
In all likelihood, this range should be presented in the second part of the year, probably upstream of the IFA 2019, but the CEO of Huawei did not hesitate to mention them during an interview with our colleagues of digital trend.
During the Exchange, Richard Yu indicated that his company was thinking about integrating a 5G modem with the Mate 30.
At the moment, these networks are not yet widespread and only a few operators offer packages of this type. In this context, there is a reasonable question as to whether 5G telephones are actually useful in 2019. Now we also know that the biggest operators are developing offers of this type. The 5G should therefore grow rapidly in the years to come.
Huawei is still hesitant about the 5G compatibility on the Mate 30
Huawei's hesitation is understood in this context, especially since 4G offers widely sufficient flows for current uses.
Now, as a general rule, when you buy a phone, it's to keep it at least two or three years. In this context, integrating a 5G modem into the Mate 30 might make sense, hopefully, of course, it doesn't have too much impact on the Terminal battery.
It must be remembered that Huawei was one of the first manufacturers to offer 5G phones. The mate X integrates a modem of this type.
