That’s possible. As the 5G network can only be achieved on supported processor. Presently, only a few processors support 5G network like Kirin 990 5G, Snapdragon 855 Plus, Samsung Exynos 980, etc. As we can see, all these processors belong to high-end flagship-level processors. However, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 will be not a flagship phone like Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and it mainly focuses on camera, so it will not be equipped with a flagship processor.

The latest news also report that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 will be powered by a mid-range processor - Snapdragon 730G. If so, we can further make sure that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 will not support 5G network. As the Snapdragon 730G cannot support 5G network.

According to Mukul Sharma, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro has received the EEC certification. Moreover, it will be a high-end version and will be equipped with Snapdragon 855 Plus chip. The Snapdragon 855 Plus features the Snapdragon X24 LTE 4G modem and pairs with the X50 5G modem to support 5G connectivity. If so, it is possible that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro will come with 5G network support.
