The latest to join its wide range of solutions are two routers that operate in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands: the Xiaomi Mi Router 4A and the Xiaomi Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition. The latter, moreover, as its name suggests, boasts LAN speeds of up to 1 Gbps and supports the simultaneous connection of up to 128 devices and devices.
Four omnidirectional antennas
Xiaomi has announced in China the new Xiaomi Mi Router 4A, an improved version of the Mi Router 3C (launched a couple of years ago) that integrates WiFi Dual Band, so it operates both in the 2.4GHz (300Mbps) band and in the 5GHz band (867Mbps). In addition, it has four omnidirectional antennas, allows to connect up to 64 devices simultaneously and has IPV6 support, which will be available through an update in June.
The Gigabit Edition model, on the other hand, shares the same features as the Xiaomi Mi Router 4A (including IPV6 support), but boasts of achieving 1Gbps LAN speeds thanks to a faster processor. It also comes with more RAM, offers the possibility of connecting up to 128 devices simultaneously and guarantees a better heat dissipation through its aluminum base with several holes.
These are its most important technical characteristics:
300Mbps 802.11n / 867Mbps 802.11ac WiFi 2.4GHz and 5GHz
