Specifically, this new model of the Mi range comes with the model number M1903F10G and is also presented with a trade name of Xiaomi Mi 9T. A mysterious smartphone that until now had only been seen silently through the certifying units of Thailand and Singapore but now also has been certified by the NCC and EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission).
To date, if we review Xiaomi's Mi range, we can only say that there should be the Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Transparent Edition, Mi 9 Pro and Mi 9X, which in the latter case would be based on the Android One version, Xiaomi Mi A3. On the other hand, the nomenclature with the letter "T" had never been seen before, so we could be faced with a new variant of Xiaomi's flagship.
Will it be the successor to the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro?
On the one hand, several informants known as Ishan Agrwal, say that we are dealing with a new version of the successful POCOPHONE F1. A new variant that would result in a new POCO F2 based on the current Xiaomi Mi 9 but with several of its trimmed features.
On the other hand, and in a more probable and logical way, everything points to the fact that we could be in front of the successor of the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro. In China, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition is already on the market, a variant of the current flagship, but with more RAM, a more attractive design in a "transparent" style and an improved main camera.
And it all makes sense if we take into account that currently, with the nomenclature Mi 9 we would only have to see the version "Pro" if Xiaomi continues the line of their smartphones as it did last year. Will it be a new POCO F2, a Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro or some new model? Don't forget to leave your opinion in the comments box.
