Ben Geskin, a famous leaker, released some renders of Pocophone F2 on Twitter. Although the leaker said that it is a "concept picture", it still has some reference value. From the rendering picture, we can see that the front of Pocophone F2 adopts the waterdrop screen design, the proportion of screen seems to have a certain increase compared with the Xiaomi Pocophone F1. The rear cameras of the Pocophone F2 are no longer located in the middle, instead, it put the vertical dual rear cameras in the left like the Xiaomi Mi 8. Besides, it adds a red circle around the camera protective glass, which looks more technological.
According to the renders, there are some updates on the design of Xiaomi POCO F2. Besides, the texture of the new phone is also improved. If that’s true, the Pocophone F2 will be very popular in the market.
As for configuration, Ben Geskin did not reveal more information, but according to previous exposure, the POCO F2 should be equipped with snapdragon 845 chip. From the current situation, the POCO F2 is unlikely to be the first smartphone to be equipped with Snapdragon 855 chip, as the classic Snapdragon 845 chip have more guarantees on both performance and cost.
As far as the product itself is concerned, Pocophone F1 is already cheap enough. In addition to its lower price, the POCO F2 may also make some efforts in design or other aspects. Nevertheless, Pocophone F2 still has a good chance to become one of the most affordable mobile phones on the market at present.
Pocophone brand only landed in India earlier, but later expanded the market to Hong Kong and other regions. It has become an international sub-brand. Pocophone brand's mission is to further enhance the cost-performance ratio, especially for the flagship smartphones.
