2020 Honor 5G Mobile phone Plan: Honor V30 is just the beginning

Is 5G really good?

Zhao Ming revealed that except for the Play series which may consider retaining 4G models in some gears, we are all 5G products in other series. In other words, the existing V30 series ranges from 3000 yuan to 4500 yuan, and  Honor  will launch 5G phones worth 2000 yuan, 1500 yuan or even 1000 yuan.

But from the consumer's point of view, blindly adding 5G to the entry-level model is a loss that outweighs the gain. The cost of entry-level models is not high, and the cost of 5G modems is not low, so it is not worth compressing other basic experiences for 5G, which is also Honor's thinking about 5G phones. Zhao Ming said that when the price of 5G mobile phones goes down, it depends on whether consumers can make products that let consumers really have a good 5G experience. Glory has always had its own persistence, and we will not use gimmicks to influence our choice of product definition.

What is the attitude of making a product

From Zhao Ming's words, it is not difficult to see that the honor of treating products is not affected by industry gimmicks, but from the perspective of consumers.

Take the V30 series that has just been released. As the flagship of the glorious annual finale, the V30 series has greatly improved its video strength, but there are some strange voices after the launch-why the V30 is not a 100-megapixel camera. Last year's V20 was the first 48 million-pixel sensor.

Zhao Ming also responded to this, with mobile phone pixels ranging from 12 million to 48 million to 64 million to 100 million, which is relatively good for marketing, but not necessarily from a professional point of view. For example, Zeiss does not make mobile phones himself, but they have said that the experience of flagship phones with about 40 million or 50 million pixels is enough.
