Acer will introduce a new projector

Next year, Acer will launch a new projector that projects smartphone content onto the wall. This was announced by the Taiwanese technology manufacturer at this year's IFA 2019 in Berlin.

The Acer C250i is the first projector with a built-in layer sensor that allows content to be optimally projected in both landscape and portrait format. In addition, the LED projector has an Auto Portrait mode, which is particularly good for displaying smartphone content. Depending on the content, the screen is rotated.

The highlight of the Acer C250i: it has an integrated battery that should last up to 5 hours. The projector projects high-resolution Full HD (1080p) images - supposedly without warm-up time. So you can use the projector simply on the way. The lamps should last 30,000 hours.

Acer uses an HDMI input, a MicroSD card shaft and a USB-C port for the interfaces. Using an internal reader, media can be played back via a MicroSD card. There is also a 3.5 mm jack connection and a connection for the external power supply.

Android and iOS devices can be connected via a wireless connection option.

New Acer projector will launch in spring 2020 for under 400 euros

The C250i projector outputs a Full HD image and still has a light output of 300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5000:1.

In the first quarter of 2020, the Acer C250i is expected to be available in stores for 399 euros.
