The arrival to the market of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 is about to take place. These graphics cards will arrive next July 7th, along with the Ryzen 3000. These new graphics are a hybrid between GCN and RDNA, because the games are not yet optimized for the new architecture. Navi will suppose an important jump with respect to the previous graphic cards of the company.
Speaking of old glories, the French media Cowcotland has published that the Vega 56 and Vega 64 have their days counted. These charts will go on to better life. They have not been the best graphics launched by the company, nor the most efficient. Nor have they been the most sold and with the arrival of the AMD Navi do not paint anything.

To give you an idea, Polaris will continue to receive stock. This shows that the RX Vega was an improvisation to gain time. The option to keep replenishing the stock is due to the fact that Polaris considers a good architecture by AMD. It's not the most efficient in the world, but it's holding up quite well over time.
So the AMD RX 560, RX 570, RX 580 and RX 590 based on Polaris 20 and Polaris 30 will be on the market for a long time to come. They are likely to do the low-end and mid-low end functions. The new Navi silicon will be used in the mid-range completely and we will see if also in the high range.
Polaris has been one of the company's most successful architectures. AMD wants to keep them in the market at really good prices, to compete with the NVIDIA GTX Turing. But we must also remember that Polaris has been in the market for more than three years.
