Apple MacBook Pro 2019 AMD Radeon Pro 5500M More Data revealed in Geebbenck

These new Apple MacBook Pro are based on Intel processors and AMD Radeon Pro graphics, the latter unannounced. The company does not innovate excessively, except what they say to innovate. The most economical model will cost 2 699 euros, while the most complete model possible will exceed 7 000 euros.

AMD Radeon Pro 5500M Specifications Filtered

Thanks to these new Apple laptops have been revealed the specifications of the Radeon Pro RX 5500M. This graphics card will have a variant of 4GB GDDR6 and another of 8GB GDDR6. Apparently this graphics card would not have direct relation with the RX 5500 XT. This graphics card has 24 Compute Units equivalent to 1 536 Stream Processors.

The GPU of Apple laptops would be based on Navi 14 silicon, for which no frequencies have been specified. But these graphs make us wonder, will it be the same with the RX 5500 desktop as in its day the RX Vega Nano, which announced it and was never known again?

We don't have any data about its performance, but Apple's bet on AMD graphics would respond to prices and consumptions. As they are 7nm silicon, they will offer good performance with minimum consumption. The curious thing is that having the possibility to mount Ryzen processors continue betting on Intel processors.
