According to report, Apple Watch 5 will continue the OLED display, JDI is expected to be a supplier. In addition, AW5 will provide a choice of titanium alloy and ceramic case models. In the first four generations, Apple has never used titanium alloy, the second and third generations have used ceramics, but the fourth generation has been absent.
It is worth mentioning that for the future Apple product line OLED panel, people believe that LG will be more involved, at the same time, China BOE (BOE) will also join in.
Previously, some one predicted that Apple will be the first to use Micro LED display technology in 2020, which is more power-efficient and less likely to burn screens than the OLED.
Last year's Apple watch 4 offered 40mm and 44mm watch diameter models, running faster, adding drop detection and digital ECG features for a two-day battery life.
