It is reported that the magnification of the two Canon telescopes are 10 times and 8 times respectively, aimed for entry-level users. BINOCULARS 10x20 IS and BINOCULARS 8x20 IS provide 10 times and 8 times optical magnification, respectively. The effective diameter of the objective lens is 20mm, which can provide bright observation effect.

The two new products are built from the center of the picture to the periphery can be clearly imaging flat field mirror, focusing in the plane, can compensate for the blurred image surface bending, so as to obtain a clear and vivid field of view in the whole field of view.

At the same time, the two BINOCULARS lenses adopt the super spectral coating technology based on Canon EF lens, which can effectively suppress glare and ghosts, and achieve clear images with high contrast and high transmittance.

In addition, compared with the Tilt IS image stabilizer used in the earlier Canon BINOCULARS 8x25 IS binocular telescope, the two new binocular telescopes are equipped with translational IS image stabilizers for EF lenses. With simpler construction and better energy-saving performance, it can effectively suppress the impact of jitter and easily obtain sharp, low-dispersion clear images.

Press the IS button to activate the anti-shake function and make it run for 5 minutes without pressing the IS button for a long time, making it easier for users to focus on the clear and stable image in their field of view and reduce the fatigue of holding.

In terms of portability, BINOCULARS 10x20 IS and BINOCULARS 8x20 IS, weigh only about 430g and 420g respectively, which is lighter than a 500ml bottle of mineral water.

The two new telescopes have also improved their recent focus performance, enabling clear focus even at close distances of about 2 metres from the object of observation.

It is reported that the two BINOCULARS telescopes will go on sale in early November 2019.
