Chinese Deepfake APP ZAO can’t be shared in Wechat now

On the evening of Aug. 30, the face-changing app "ZAO- face-making" exploded in the form of brushing in the circle of friends, becoming the AI face-changing APP, that everyone competed to experience over the weekend. The new content promises that short videos and faces uploaded by users will remain on ZAO in strict accordance with relevant laws and regulations. ZAO will not use the above for any other form or purpose unless it is intended to improve the services of ZAO or otherwise obtain the consent of the user. 

In addition, ZAO officials said that users can withdraw or delete the content in accordance with ZAO's platform rules, and after the user withdraws or removes, ZAO will delete it on the server in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. 

On September 1, the face-changing app "ZAO" WeChat sharing link has been stopped, the page shows that "there is a security risk to the web page, has been complained by many people, in order to maintain a green Internet environment, has stopped visiting."
