Cool! MIUI 11 stable version adds support for app drawer feature like Poco Launcher

One of the most eagerly awaited features of MIUI 11 is its renewed system launcher including a new application drawer. A functionality that has arrived to the stable version of the Chinese ROM and soon all the Xiaomi phones with the latest MIUI 11 global version, like Redmi K20, Poco F1, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi 8, and Redmi 8A, etc, will also get the new app drawer feature.

Until now MIUI had never had an application drawer, rather these were added directly to the desktop in the purest Apple iOS style. In that way, our phone’s screen is always occupied by too many apps.

However, with the arrival of app drawer, our home screen is significantly extended. We just need to retain several main apps on the home screen, and let other apps stay at the app drawer. Moreover, the app drawer will put all the recently used apps on the top and you just need to swipe up on the home screen to access it.

In addition, this new app drawer is fully customizable, so we can set its appearance, the way to classify applications or even the way by gestures we want to open it.

How to enable the app drawer in MIUI 11?

To activate the app drawer on your phone, you just need to:

● Go to Settings - Home screen - Activate the "With app drawer" mode.
