Evlesks, the famous revelator, posted a rendering of Huawei's P40 Pro on Twitter. As can be seen from the rendered picture, the P40 Pro is a front dual-lens camera digging screen with large curved radians on both sides of the screen.

No one is more concerned about the camera module of the rear camera, the P40 Pro may use a Leica imaging system consisting of five cameras and a two-color flash.

With the gradual deepening of 2020, the revelations about Huawei's P40 series began to enter an intensive period. Recently, the well-known whistleblower RODENT950 released the patch of Huawei P40 Pro, which mainly shows the screen curvature of P40 Pro.

As you can see, the screen curvature of Huawei's P40 Pro is a little larger than that of the previous generation of P30 Pro. At the same time, RODENT950 also revealed that the P40 Pro has adopted the digging screen scheme, which is the first time that the P series has applied the digging screen.

In addition to film exposure, the well-known revelation god SlashLeaks has exposed the protective shell rendering of P40 and P40 Pro. The rendering of the protective shell also indicates that the P40 series will adopt matrix backlighting.

It is very similar to the previous rendering, especially in the rear camera. As can be seen from the rendering of the protective shell, the Huawei P40 will be equipped with a rectangular quad camera lens, a long LED flash and a Leica logo. It also indicates that Huawei P40 series will have a better imaging system.

And this protective shell rendering picture, you can see Huawei P40 Pro camera protruding, the protruding range is not large, the thickness of the whole machine is estimated to be about 7mm to 9mm. The number of Huawei P40 Pro lenses is about 4. It is also reported that the P40 Pro will be equipped with 10x optical zoom and will have an exclusive supply of sub-optical refractive devices. While the previous generation of P30 Pro has 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom, this upgrade also proves that Huawei wants to continue to expand the dominance of Huawei P-series in mobile photography.

As can be seen from the rendering, the front of the Huawei P40 Pro uses a punched curved screen design, with the front camera at the top left of the screen. According to the latest news, the main camera sensor of Huawei P40 Pro will be upgraded to Sony IMX 700, with 52 million pixels and a size of 1.3 inches, which is also arranged in RYYB pixels. At present, Huawei Mate30 series and Honor V30 series use RYYB pixel arrangement, which can obtain ultra-high luminosity. In the night scene shooting, the amount of light input will be higher, the noise will be less, with other mobile phones can not match the night shooting technology. But there is also a weakness, that is, there will be a certain degree of color bias, which depends on whether Huawei's training in software algorithms is effective.

In addition, whether to adopt dual-lens camera or not is also one of the issues in public opinion. Guo Wei media said that Huawei P40 uses a single-hole front-facing camera, while Huawei P40 Pro/P40 Pro ceramic special edition is a double-hole front-facing camera. An extra camera may be added to the front wide-angle or depth-of-field effect.

Hardware configuration.

As for the hardware configuration, not surprisingly, the Huawei P40 series will use Kirin 9905G processor and support NSA and SA dual-mode 5G.

Kirin 9905G is made of a brand new 7nm + EUV process, which is composed of 2 Cortex-A76 high performance cores with 2.86GHz frequency, 2 Cortex-A76 cores with 2.36GHz frequency and 4 Cortex-A55 cores with 1.95GHz frequency. In terms of GPU, Kirin 9905G upgrades the number of cores to 16 cores on the basis of Mali-G76, with the main frequency reaching 700MHz. Compared with the mainstream flagship chips in the industry, Kirin 9905G has 6% higher GPU performance and 20% higher energy efficiency.

With the fifth generation self-developed ISP image processor, it can achieve higher data volume image processing, improve better noise reduction processing in dark light environment, and reduce energy efficiency. It is also the first mobile phone chip in the world to support dual-domain joint video noise reduction technology and adopt BM3D noise reduction algorithm.

The rest of the NFC, wireless fast charging, super fast charging, reverse charging and screen fingerprints will remain. Yu Chengdong once revealed in an interview that the design of the P40 series is "unprecedented" and will have better photos, stronger mobile phone performance and more perfect independent design. He said the P40 series will be launched in Paris, France, in March next year.
