[gearbest News] recently, Intel released its Q4 earnings report in 2019. According to the earnings report, Intel beat expectations in the fourth quarter of 2019, with revenue of $20.21 billion, up 8% from a year earlier, and net profit of $6.9 billion, up 33% from a year earlier. Non-GAAP earnings per share were $1.52, exceeding the market consensus of $1.25.

Specifically, the largest business unit of Q4 Intel in 2019 is Intel customer Computing, which is responsible for PC and mobile products, with revenue of $10.01 billion, an increase of about 2 per cent year-on-year. In addition, the demand for cloud server CPU has rebounded sharply, and the data center business, which specializes in server chip business, has grown by about 19% to US $7.2 billion, exceeding the expected US $6.4 billion.

Many consumers have reported the shortage of Intel CPU before, and Intel CPU also said publicly on the earnings call that the supply of PC chips is still tight, and it seems that the shortage problem will continue for some time. Intel predicts that shortages will ease in the second half of 2020.
