MacOS Catalina caused some issues: If you use Photoshop or Lighroom, don't upgrade to macOS Catalina

Adobe is aware of these errors and have posted an entry on their support page listing known Photoshop 20.0.6 compatibility problems with Catalina macOS. The company has offered some temporary solutions, although most bugs have to do with the new macOS not supporting 32-bit applications.
The lens profile creator, the ExtendScript toolkit and droplets created with earlier versions of Photoshop are not supported for that reason. In the case of plugins, problems increase if they are downloaded from the web or installed by dragging them into the application.
Tethering with Nikon cameras does not work in Lightroom Classic and neither does the lens profile creator, which, like Photoshop, is a 32-bit utility that Adobe has already promised to update so that users can work with it.
The theme of Adobe software and its bugs when upgrading to a new version of macOS is not new. These problems occur every year, so more experienced users tend to wait a little until it's completely safe to migrate. At the moment the company's recommendation to its users is not to update an macOS Catalina.
