Microsoft announces two major changes for Xbox One now

Microsoft is launching a new experimental Home home page design.In this new Home home page, Microsoft has removed the crankshaft from the top of the Home and switched to a separate button.Microsoft believes that this experience will enable you to enter Xbox Game Pass, Mixer, the Xbox community and Microsoft Store faster than ever before. Microsoft is now more focused on the games you've been playing lately. The new experimental Home home page experience will be launched this week, starting with test preview users.

Microsoft is removing the ability to talk to Cortana through headphones. If you want to use any Xbox voice commands, you need to use Xbox Skill for Cortana through the Cortana application on iOS, Android, and Windows 10 or through the Harmon Kardon Invoke speaker. Yes, you can also use devices that support Alexa.

Microsoft plans to improve Xbox skills in supported digital assistants to expand Xbox voice capabilities in the future. This update will be available to Alpha Jump Preview users and will be fully pushed to all users this fall.
