Yesterday could be a lucky day for POCO fans and the already mythical Poco F1. Manu Kumar Jain, the boss of Xiaomi India, would have inadvertently overtaken when the long-awaited Poco F2 will arrive. The Xiaomi executive shared a photo of him and Redmi Business team leader, Sneha Tainwala, discussing some issues. However, the really important thing about this photo is that in this one would find a clue of the date of arrival of the POCO F2.
The Poco F2 seen in a product launch timeline
Directly behind the executives of both companies is a blackboard with what appears to be a timeline of new product launches. If we take a closer look at the image, we will see that the mentioned timeline shows a Mi Pad scheduled for May and June, while below we see the (POCO) F2 written for the last quarter of this year.
It must be borne in mind that no one has officially confirmed anything, so this must be taken with caution. First, the Mi Pad (4/4 Plus) was not released in India this year, which means that the information on the board may be out of date or that maybe, just maybe, it does not indicate information intended for this year, but next year. If the timeline is for next year, that means that POCO fans have an additional year of waiting for a successor to the very popular terminal. This would result in something sad, although the feeling is relieved by the availability of the Redmi K20 Pro/Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.
There are other products in the picture like the Xiaomi MI MIX 3 Forbidden Palace Edition that is shown on the table along with the Redmi K20 / K20 Pro, and the Redmi Note 8 Pro because that is the only Redmi phone with a green tone. The fact that an image referring to POCO F1 has been posted by official media can be very significant. We will be looking forward to more news about Pocophone F1 from official channel.
