Qualcomm QCC514x and QCC304x SoC Similarity
Qualcomm's TrueWireless mirroring technology connects to the phone through one headset and mirrors it to another, theoretically reducing the amount of synchronization data required and improving reliability. If the user takes off the main headset, the system can also seamlessly switch to the secondary headset, making the wireless headset more like a pair of headphones than two separately linked to the phone.
Another major function is Qualcomm's hybrid (active noise cancellation) ANC technology, which integrates active noise reduction technology, in other words, cheap wireless headset products using these chips can also have active noise reduction capabilities.
In addition, Qualcomm also said that the two chips are more energy-efficient and can lead to longer battery life.
Qualcomm QCC514x and QCC304x SoC Differences
The main difference between Qualcomm QCC514x and Qualcomm QCC304x SoC is that the former can provide a wake-up word activation function for voice assistants to listen to all the time (for example, a sentence “Hey, Siri” can wake up Siri), while Qualcomm QCC304x SoC requires pressing a key to activate a voice assistant.
Overall, Qualcomm's two Bluetooth headset chips are expected to bring some high-end TWS earphone features, such as active noise reduction and voice assistant, to a more affordable price range for the benefit of TWS earbuds consumers.
