Good news, the MIUI 11 global version update starts rolling out. The first phase will take place between today October 22nd and next October 31st, bringing to a large number of smartphones the long-awaited renewal of the famous Xiaomi customization layer. Fortunately, the Redmi K20, or Xiaomi Mi 9T and Redmi 7A are the first to receive the stable MIUI 11 global version update. However, it’s still based on Android 9.0 Pie instead of the latest Android 10.

These Xiaomi devices will receive MIUI 11 global update in October

If we remember, from today until the end of this month of October, MIUI 11 Global will reach the POCOPHONE F1, Redmi Y3, Redmi Note 7S, Redmi 7, Mi 8, Mi Mix 3, Redmi K20, Xiaomi Mi 9T, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 Lite, Mi Mix 2s. A first stage that has started with the Xiaomi Mi 9T as already reported by several users of it.

We don't have a specific date but if you can't wait, you can always check if your device has any system updates pending. To do this you just have to go to go to "Settings"> "About phone"> "System update" and click "Check for updates" to see if the MIUI update for the phone appears, which has a weight close to GB.

It is expected that these days the MIUI 11 will also reach the Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi Mix and Pocophone range.
