Redmi Note 8 and 8 Pro will adopt two different processors: Qualcomm for the first, MediaTek for the second

Recently, MediaTek announced that the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the most advanced model, would have the new MediaTek Helio G90T, a processor designed for the gamer public. Now it is official that his little brother will arrive with the Snapdragon 665, which to put it in context, is the same SoC that we found in the Xiaomi Mi A3.
Two brothers quite different from each other
The truth is that Xiaomi is being a little jealous of the information she publishes about her terminals. Data such as the screen or RAM memory have not been brought to light, although the company has not hesitated to show the design of the mobiles and several details of their cameras. We'll talk about them now, but first let's tackle the processors.
We already know that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will have the MediaTek Helio G90T, an eight-core SoC manufactured in 12 nanometers FinFet moving at a maximum speed of 2.05 GHz. The GPU is the Mali G76, whose speed is 800 mHz. It is, in terms of speed, very similar to Snapdragon 665, which is the one we will see in the most basic model. Speaking of performance, also highlight the liquid cooling that this model will incorporate.
As for the Redmi Note 8, the processor we will see inside will be the Snapdragon 665. It is a chipset of eight Kryo 260 cores at 2 GHz manufactured in 11 nanometers accompanied by the GPU Adreno 616 and the Hexagon 686 DSP, which will execute artificial intelligence code in the camera.
Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will have four rear cameras
Moving on to the camera, Xiaomi and Samsung confirmed that Redmi would be the first brand to incorporate a 64 megapixel sensor into a mobile phone, and so it will be. The model in charge of such a premiere will be the Redmi Note 8 Pro, as one would expect if we consider that it is the most advanced model. The Redmi Note 8, on the other hand, will have a main sensor of 48 megapixels, which is not exactly a low figure either. We also know that the Redmi Note 8 will have four cameras, the same number as the Pro model.
Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro price and release date
The Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will be presented in China on August 29th. It is expected that the Redmi Note 8 Pro (6+128GB) is very likely to be priced at 1599 yuan (about $223) or 1799 yuan (about $251). The modest edition Redmi Note 8 may be set at a cheaper price than the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
