Research shows that voice assistants are accidentally activated 1.5 to 19 times a day, with an average activation time of 43 seconds.
They studied five smart speakers: Google Home Mini first generation, Apple HomePod first generation, Microsoft Harman Kardon, and Amazon Echo Dot second and third generation.
Among them, the most "outstanding" performance is Apple's HomePod's Siri, which is the voice assistant who is most likely to pronounce other things as his own name, such as "the funeral of Faith's funeral (faith"; Echo Dot's Alexa sounds "congresswoman" as his own name; Google's Home Mini is awakened when he hears "I don't like the cold. (I don't like the cold)." As for Cortana, Harman Kardon's Microsoft assistant, it thinks it is Colorado.
"If I wanted privacy, I would just power off the Alexa," said Robert Frederick (Robert Frederick), a former manager of Amazon Web Services.
