Sony has already applied for the registration of "PS5" related trademarks in these regions and countries at the end of January, and although the main purpose of applying for trademark registration in each region is to avoid preemptive registration, it also seems to mean that Sony has begun to make public the true face of PlayStation 5.
Prior to this, many people thought that Sony planned to formally reveal the details of PlayStation 5 during February, just like the announcement of PlayStation 4 in New York on February 20, 2013, Sony may also choose to announce PlayStation 5 at a similar point in time.
According to previous accounts, Sony will hold a PlayStation Meeting event in Sony Hall, New York, on February 5, and will use "It's time to play" as a promotional term for the PlayStation platform this year, as well as for the upcoming PlayStation 5.
The price of the new phone is expected to be $499, or 449 pounds, 449 euros, and 54999 yen. Initially, it will only be available in general specifications, and the "Pro" model will not be released for the time being. The hardware specifications will be similar to Microsoft Xbox Series X, and the computing performance is expected to be at 10TFLOPS. Sony will also open pre-orders for specific markets on the day of its release.
