According to the Geekbench website, the phone will run Android 9 Pie with 8GB of memory, which could refer to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor or an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, according to the "msmnile" SoC. In the test, vivo NEX 3 5G scored 3627 points for single core and 11347 points for multi-core.

According to previous information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the vivo NEX 3 5G version weighs 218.5g, and the screen uses a 6.89-inch waterfall screen with a resolution of 2256 × 1080 pixels, accounting for 99.6 per cent of the screen.
