What is the cheapest country in the world to charge your Tesla?

When we talk about electric vehicles, the question of the purchase price, often significant, is frequently raised. We talk a little less often about the cost of recharging. It must be said that this is much cheaper than for cars with internal combustion engines. However, there are many differences depending on where in the world you are.
The UK site Compare The Market has conducted a study that gives an overview of electricity rates and the cost of recharging a Tesla car country by country. This comparison is based on a S model equipped with a 100 kWh battery. These prices depend mainly on the organization of electricity systems and are not linked to the general prosperity of countries.
Thus, Chile is the cheapest country to recharge your Tesla, it will cost $2.70 to travel 100 miles (160km). On the other hand, it will cost $13.13 to travel the same distance in Denmark, the study country where recharging is most expensive. This is due to the fact that renewable energies are highly developed, particularly wind energy, and their production cost is currently higher than other energy sources.
With an amount of 7.34 dollars per 100 miles, France is in the middle of the table. This figure is relatively reliable insofar as the French electricity production system is centralised, which is not the case, for example, in the United States, where it is regionalised. In the American case, this results in data that are quite questionable according to the CleanTechnica site.
The question of charging infrastructures for electric vehicles remains an important issue in France. Beyond the big announcements, electric car users face many daily difficulties that are reminiscent of the problems faced by Internet pioneers in the past.
