Xiaomi's 100W Super Charge Turbo reaches smartphones in 2020

Earlier this year, Xiaomi unveiled its own Super Charge Turbo. An innovative technology capable of reaching 100W of power by charging a 4,000mAh battery in just 17 minutes.

Xiaomi is introducing a really amazing technology for smartphones, it promises to recharge up to 100W for some of its next handsets in 2020. Earlier this year, the company demonstrated in a video how fast recharging can be, in just 17 minutes it demonstrates how it is possible to recharge a 4000mAh mobile phone and receive full charge. This number is almost twice as fast as OPPO's SuperVOOC technology, currently the fastest on the market.

While the OPPO recharge reached 65% in 17 minutes, Xiaomi's was fully charged. The disclosure of the technology was made first via Weibo, favorite social network of the Chinese, and now received a forecast of launch, reaches some smartphones of the company in 2020. The novelty was commented during a conference of developers of the company recently, it is expected some time next year, as previous testimonials of Lu Weibing and Lin Bin, executives of Xiaomi.

At the conference, were revealed new details for charging the 100W Chinese, it will use two batteries, as we have seen in the OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition, and will have software and hardware protection to keep the devices safe. The company also comments that its technology is up to 98% efficient and uses high quality materials.

Xiaomi has made efforts to embrace new technologies and implement improvements to its smartphones, recently the company announced, through its spokesperson and CEO Lei Jun, that it is planning to launch at least 10 new 5G smartphones in 2020. It also ensures that all its mobile phones costing over 250 euros will support network connection technology in the future. It is also worth mentioning the new implementations of its interface, MIUI 11, which received an update from its voice assistant and now even warns when there are earthquakes nearby.
