GT 215MM Fire Dancer FPV Racing Drone

I'll say it right at the beginning of the Fire Dancer ... for me the perfect race quadrocopter. Powerful, responsive to the control of the pilot and he looks really great. The flies so accurate that I flew with FPV in Acro mode through my apartment - of course not in full speed. : D
The FPV camera also provides a very good picture. Of course he has OSD, LED 's and buzzer on board.
Two minus points for me are that the receiver on the top of the copter is unprotected in a crash. The battery is not protected by a carbon fiberglass plate.
But that was the only thing I did not like.
I fly it with a 4S 1500mAh battery.
For the current price, this Race Drone is almost given.

This drone is pretty awesome once you fix some things on it.Its the prettiest drone in my fleet.
Here's a list of what I did to make this one awesome. Its will worth the price when it goes on sale.
Change props
Used copper foil tape to insulate the VTX
Added a 1000uf 35v capacitor
Tuned the camera and changed the lens out for a gopro one
unhooked the vtx from the sbus (cut the red wire)
took off the antenna spacer so the pagoda screws in.
Changed out the transmitter for a frsky XM plus
Set the motor timing to med-low

Not a out of the box flier needs work

This drone has been the best FPV drone so far. I have purchased two darkmax drones and one micro drone and so far this fire dancer has out performerd and out lasted all of them. This thing is so fast and awesome I'm going to buy another one. I connected another receiver no problem. It's a tight build but once you get it the way you want the thing just kills it! Would highly recommend buying this drone above all else. Really wish I had bought this one as my first drone. Would have been a much easier experience getting into the drone game. Buy this drone !!

1. Super price ! for that $$ is hard to build anything close to GT
2. TransTec frame!
3. Powerful and definitely not for beginner.
I recommend to list parts used in this build and everything should be clear.
This is not top notch BNF or RTF. You need to fix couple of things but worth it.
Cam and Vtx Noise you can fix quickly with copper plate or tape.
Perfect X for upgrades :)
I bought second one :) only this frame cost aprox 60-80 $
Anyways beast for me!
I would recommend this X to my friends :)

great equipment !!! lots of quality involved last performance !!! with great pieces !! the only thing I mechi was in the position of the antennas of both the receiver and the video 5.8g because the inclination that comes from the factory any fall with the equipment damages it !! the frsky recptor came up I did not like the position and put the same on top of the tower !! outside these details the drone is a definite sight !!

Un superbe drone racer avec un look magnifique et hyper séduisant : cage aluminium pour protéger les composants et la caméra et style très racing avec ses moteurs brushless et ses hélices roses !! Un sacré punch avec une lipo 4S et une vision fpv excellente !! À recommander ;)

Franchement je ne suis pas déçu et je m'éclate avec. Il est très rapide et la cage en aluminium protège très bien l'électronique.
avantages: une fois toutes les améliorations faites, c'est un régal de voler avec. Pour le prix auquel je l'ai acheté soit 120€ (j'en ai acheté 2 pour avoir du spare) c'est un très bon rapport prix/performance & qualite. La frame et les moteurs ont encaissé tous mes crash.

Suggestion

inconvénients: je ne le conseil pas aux débutants ou aux personnes qui n'aiment pas trop bricoler car pour voler sainement il faut mettre les mains dans le cambouis (voir la vidéo de AndyRC). De plus la position de l'antenne VTX fait en sorte qu'elle prend chère lorsque je crash et le connecteur de l'ESC 4 en 1 se dessoude facilement après un gros crash mais une fois ressoudé correctement il tient bien le coup.

Frankly I'm not disappointed and I'm having fun with. It is very fast and the aluminum cage protects the electronics very well.
Pros: Once all the improvements are made, it's a treat to fly with it. For the price I bought it is 120 € (I bought 2 to spare) is a very good price / performance & quality. The frame and the engines have resist all my crash.

Suggestion

Disadvantages: I do not advice to beginners or people who do not like to tinker because to fly healthy you must put your hands in the grease (see the video of AndyRC). In addition the position of the VTX antenna makes it expensive when I crash and the connector of the ESC 4 in 1 is easily desoldered after a big crash but once welded correctly it holds up well.

* Peso del Dron con respecto a la potencia.
* Buena calidad de sus elementos.
* Muy buena potencia de sus motores.
* Camara de muy buena calidad

Suggestion

* Es un dron para expertos ya que no es muy tolerable a los golpes.
* Al carecer de protección para los motores es muy convenientes ponerlos.
* El ESC 4 en 1 es de 35A pero al tener palas de 5048 el amperaje desarrollado esta muy cercano a los 35A. Estaría bien haber puesto un ESC un poco mas olgado de 40A
* La antena de video PAGODA no hace buena conexión y es porque hay que quitarle la chapita que tiene de refuerzo para que el conector macho tenga un poco mas de esparrago. (Adjunto Fotos para que veais como queda con esa modificación)

originaly working badly but after few minutes didn't work anymore.
so very desapointed now
