Xiaomi Redmi S2 5.99 inch 4G Phablet Global Version

E’ praticamente la domanda che ci siamo fatti tutti alla presentazione di questo telefono: ma che senso ha?
Vi anticipo che non ho una risposta, ma a me è piaciuto e gli ho trovato 3 motivi per comprarlo.
Chiariamoci, questo telefono è un minestrone di caratteristiche.
Abbiamo infatti un ultra collaudato ma ormai quasi “datato” Snapdragon 625 che come già qualcun altro prima di me ha notato andare anche un filo peggio su questo terminale.
Ma è pur vero che spesso si nota qualche rallentamento e qualche lag che sui molti altri terminali che ho provato con questo processore sinceramente non ho trovato. Tuttavia, nonostante questo per un uso normale di social, messaggistica e anche qualche classica sessione di gioco non ci troviamo davanti ad un telefono che ci fa spazientire.
Insomma in conclusione un processore che non scalda eccessivamente e che mi ha soddisfatta nell’utilizzo quotidiano. Ed il fatto che non scaldi troppo conferma ancora una volta la bontà del progetto di questo processore…
Che ancora una volta dimostra di essere amico della vostra batteria. Abbiamo infatti un’autonomia davvero elevata e nei recenti giorni in cui sono stato in fiera e ho avuto un utilizzo altalenante ma a tratti intenso con uso di gps, e varie app in contemporanea mi ha sempre portato a sera con un ampio margine. E quindi staccato dalla spina alle 6 di mattina sono arrivato alle 22.30/23 con sempre ben oltre il 30% di batteria residua.
E questo è stato sicuramente rassicurante perché non mi ha lasciato mai scarico nelle situazioni più complicato come invece è successo a diversi colleghi iphonizzati! (tiè)
Ma è anche vero che i due giorni a meno che non abbiate un utilizzo davvero “easy” del telefono non saranno raggiungibili. E questo sinceramente mi ha un pelo deluso in quanto lo schermo con risoluzione solo HD credevo avrebbe permesso di raggiungere tranquillamente i due giorni.
E sì, avete capito lo schermo è solo HD, ma fermi lì!
Infatti le prestazioni di questo schermo non possono in alcun modo far rimpiangere altri schermi in questa fascia di prezzo. Pur avendo infatti una densità di 269 ppi al contrario di altri miei colleghi io i pixel non li ho notati ma anzi ho notato colori brillanti che non variano quando incliniamo il telefono e che permette insomma una estrema godibilità di tutti i contenuti multimediali.
Insomma, al netto delle mille paranoie mentali che ci assillano e del pompaggio disperato delle schede tecniche, ho avuto ancora una volta conferma che si può realizzare un ottimo pannello anche con caratteristiche tecniche “normali”.
Ma ora è arrivato il momento di parlarvi dei motivi per cui ho voluto comprare e provare questo S2 e il primo in assoluto è l’estetica.
E sopra ogni cosa infatti mi ha colpito la conformazione della cover posteriore che è davvero bella e finalmente diversa rispetto a tutti gli altri Redmi che abbiamo provato e visto in questi anni. Infatti il profilo in allumin

buen teléfono por el precio que tiene
pues sus prestaciones son buenas el procesador es un ya bastante conocido y que sin duda es uno de los mejores para un teléfono de este rango de precio pues es capas de realizar cualquier tarea sin ningún tipo de lag o que se congelé el dispositivo
cámaras con una resolución buena sin llegar a tomar unas fotos exelentes
en el día y sobre todo con buena luz el teléfono captura unas imágenes bastante buenas con unos detalles que se aprecian a la perfección
pero en la noche toma unas fotos un poco malas pues pierden definición y salen un poco borrosas y la cámara frontal también toma unas fotos bastante buenas pero tiene los mismos problemas que la trasera
la pantalla es buena pero pudo ser mejor
la pantalla es buena tiene un nivel de brillo bueno se aprecia bastante bien en interiores pero si usas el teléfono en el exterior hay en ocasiones que la luz de el sol está enfrente de ti y es cuando la pantalla ya no se aprecia demasiado pues aunque tiene el brillo al máximo no es suficiente
y la pantalla al ser solo hd cuando estás leyendo un texto y es muy pequeño no se puede leer muy bien ya que le falta dencidad y resolución a la pantalla
la batería en buena pero ajustada
la batería es de 3080 mha lo cual es bastante normal pero es una batería que te permite utilizar el teléfono por un día completo si lo usas para redes sociales y para mirar algún vídeo de forma ocasional
sin embargó cuando estás usando el teléfono para mirar varios vídeos o usar algún servicio streaming que se aprecia bastante bien Garcías a la pantalla grande que tiene y que es para lo que se puediera utilizar con más frecuencia o para jugar es cuando te das cuenta que la batería está un poco justa ya que solo te durar un poco más de medio día y tienes que recargar el teléfono que además no tarda demasiado pero no siempre puedes recargar en teléfono y es algo que se pudo mejorar en el teléfono
el diseño es bueno
el teléfono tiene un diseño bastante bueno ya que es discreto pero tiene algunos toques que lo hacen resaltar como las líneas que están en la parte superior e inferior que hacen ver diferente en teléfono y sumado a el logotipo de la marca que está cromado y lo hace resaltar de teléfonos otros que son de la misma marcar
esta construido en plástico pero te da una sensación bastante buena en la mano ya que se tiene una textura agradable y a la primera no te das cuenta de que es plástico sino después que lo tocas y lo miras con detalle aunque es un poco resbaladizo pero con la funda esto se soluciona
en conclusión es un buen teléfono siempre y cuando no exigas demasiado o lo compares con teléfonos de mayor valor y es perfecto para un uso cotidiano y para consumir contenido multimedia siempre y cuando tengas la posibilidad de conectar el teléfono de vez en cuando

The Redmi S2’s predominantly plastic design is somewhat at odds with the good work the company has been doing recently when it comes to premium materials. It feels a bit cheap and nasty when compared to the metal bodywork of the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5, and the antenna lines at the top and bottom of the device make it look like an unfinished pre-production prototype.

On the plus side, the overall design is appealing, with the device sporting nicely rounded edges and a good contrast between the screen and the frame.

On the right-hand side of the phone you’ll find the volume rocker and power button, while the left-hand side is home to the SIM card tray. In a neat twist this has space for two nano-SIM cards and a microSD card, so you don’t have to give up one of those nano-SIM slots to expand the phone’s storage.
the Redmi S2 is a real steal. There are aspects that could be better – the screen is weak and the lack of USB Type-C support is downright puzzling – but it offers a decent level of processing power, excellent photographic capabilities, good stamina and up-to-date software, all wrapped in a moderately attractive package.

The biggest question when approaching the Redmi S2 is whether you should pick it over some of Xiaomi’s other budget devices, such as the more attractive Redmi Note 5.

Xiaomi’s assault on the budget sector shows no signs of letting up, and the Redmi S2 is the perfect phone for anyone shopping on a shoestring. To hit that low price point the Chinese firm has been forced to make plenty of concessions, so there’s no NFC, waterproofing, fast-charging or even a true HD display, but the camera setup is excellent and it’s running Android Oreo to boot.

The icing on the cake is that the global version available from retailers such as Gearbest has Google apps installed as standard, so you don’t need to mess around flashing a new ROM to the phone before you can use it.

Verdict
The Redmi S2 might not be the best budget blower Xiaomi has released in 2018, but it remains worthy of consideration.

Xiaomi Redmi S2 has a lot of bang for your buck!

The shipping for this product came very quickly. When I unboxed the item I felt it was packaged well to ensure minimal damage. The phone is sleek looking and easy to handle. I was worried the large screen would be difficult to hold but Xiaomi made the screen slightly narrower than my previous phone (LG) which means I can hold it securely with one hand. Box came with charging cable, a pin to remove the sim card tray, and an added bonus of a clear silicone case!

The phone boots up quickly and the touch response is very reactive. The finger print sensor works much better than my previous LG phone. Easy to customize your layout. I do miss the app drawer that I have become used to, but there are third party apps that can be downloaded if I want. The phone literally walked me through transferring all my apps and pics/videos from my previous phone. It was nice not having to redownload my apps.

The battery life is really lasting a long time with one charge. I was able to put my sim card in and get service right away. Camera seems not as fabulous as I would have expected from the specs but it does have some nice filters and editing capabilities which are user friendly.

The product came with a EU outlet plug and at the time there didn't seem to be an option to select a US plug. Thankfully the US wall plugs are easy to obtain and the charging cable connects with a usb. So this is only a minor inconvenience.

Ela dura quase 2 dias inteiros comigo com apenas uma carga. E isso é fantástico e acontece por.conta do processador snapdragon 625 que gerencia a bateria muito bem. E isso é maravilhoso pois não preciso me preocupar em regarca na rua.Sobre as câmeras vou falar de mais perfeições do smartphone. A câmera frontal é incrível! 16 megapixels numa câmera frontal é insano. E a xiaomi soube ser insana com essa câmera de 100% qualidade. E as câmeras traseiras não são diferentes.
