UMIDIGI S2 Pro 4G Phablet

Las pantallas sin bordes permiten aumentar la diagonal sin por ello disparar las dimensiones del dispositivo, de ahí que este nuevo Umidigi S2 Pro apueste por 5,99 pulgadas sin apenas marcos, con vidrio curvado y con una resolución de 2.160 x 1.080. Dos cuadrados perfectos de 1.080 píxeles de lado cuya nomenclatura sería algo parecido a FullHD+ o similar.

En cuanto al procesador, Umidigi ha montado un Helio P25 de MediaTek, un procesador de ocho núcleos a 2,6GHz que cuenta además con una GPU Mali T880 MP2 de doble núcleos a 900MHz. Para completar el interior del cerebro del terminal, 6GB de RAM con 64GB de almacenamiento interno. Ah, y una ranura para microSD que nos permitirá añadir 256GB extra.

Tampoco falta la cámara dual en este nuevo teléfono de Umidigi. Encontramos un sensor de 13 megapíxeles acompañado por otro de 5 megapíxeles, destinados ambos a producir fotografías con desenfoque selectivo y fotografías 3D gracias a la combinación de ambas imágenes captadas con distinto ángulo. Las cámaras, ambas con sensor Sony, están acompañadas por un flash LED Dual y tienen enfoque PDAF además de poder capturar vídeo 4K. Ni rastro en las especificaciones, por cierto, de su cámara frontal que podría no existir.

Pero sin duda la mejor característica de este Umidigi S2 Pro es su batería. Ni su puerto USB C ni la capacidad para conectarse a redes WiFi duales, ni tan siquiera tener una doble bandeja para SIM o un lector de huellas dactilares en la espalda. Lo mejor son sus 5.100 mAh de batería que, según el fabricante, mantendrán el teléfono encendido durante dos días sin muchos problemas. El Umidigi S2 Pro llega además con un cuerpo metálico y con Android 7.1.1 Nougat en su interior, enmascarado, como de costumbre, tras la capa propietaria del fabricante: UMI GUI OS.

Los botones en pantalla se hacen a veces difíciles de pulsar, si tienes dedos muy gruesos, ya que no tiene botones físicos

The Umidigi S2 Pro is a very complete and capable smartphone.

It has a flagship feel, from the packaging and accessories to the body and 18:9 screen.

I thought the face ID would be a gimmick, but its actually super-fast, practically instant and faster even than the fingerprint sensor. I'm a total convert to its efficiency.

The system offers in detail control to customise the OS and comprehensive preferences to calibrate the screen (although it seems very good right out of the box)

There are numerous preinstalled productivity apps, it will take some time to get to know them all and get the most from them. With the massive inbuilt storage the extra apps are no problem to have. And there no worry of them using ram or battery in the background as they can easily be placed in the Freezer App to hibernate them.

Another welcome surprise is the quality of the included case which is really premium with a slight sandstone texture to it that makes it really grippy and resistant to marks.

It's really got a premium feel - I'm a little sorry I didn't choose it in red!!

Suggestion

Slightly hesitant opening some apps.

Last OTA update is dated December 2017, it would be nice if Umidigi would do a thorough update to further sharpen the performance.

Generally, the mobil is very good but has several ailments. Price is affordable. The camera is average and lacks many functions compared to the camera in Samsung. The applications are working properly. The screen sometimes hangs, when writing also (maybe it's just a problem with the software on my phone). Bluetooth works very well with the device 3M Alert, while with the cheaper headphones not too good and I have 3 pairs of cheaper headphones, often breaks the connection (Samsung does not have this problem). The battery is very good, it keeps the whole day (in the evening there is still 40% ... music and telephone connection, a few sms, and a little internet, generally 18 hours of phone work per day). In general, I rate this model as very good, we will see how it will work after a year or two years (my last Samsung lasted 2 years and was 2.5 times more expensive than Umidigi S2PRO). The phone is very nice and aesthetically made, I recommend it, it is worth the price

First of all you need to refine the Bluetooth, improve the functionality of the camera. Take care to hang up the screen.

après 2 mois d'utilisation intensif du smartphone umidigi s2 pro je peu citer les point fort et faible suivent:
+ la batterie est juste excellente en utilisation normal (je tiens toute la journée avec spotify, YouTube, facebook ... et des jeux) en fin de soirée il me reste facile 40%
+ la charge rapide est très efficace même pour une grande batterie
+ le design unique
+ la coque en silicone fournie est bien
- l'adaptateur jack vers USB type C est très fragile (déjà casser pour ma pare)
- le smartphone est un peu lourd
- le processeurs n'est pas assez puissant pour faire tourner correctement les très gros jeux du style PUBG mobile et chauffe énormément.
- le réglages du son haut parleur au minimum est trop puisant
- l'écran manque un tout petit peu de luminosité pour l'utilisation en extérieur avec du soleil.
- et pour ma par le smartphone a un problème de tactile de temps en temps ce qui est très agacent.

Сегодня 06.01.2018 г получил свой заказ. Смартфон мне очень понравился, отличный экран, отличная производительность, автономность просто супер, включил его в 14:35 уровень заряда батареи был 35%, я его стал настраивать, закачал кучу приложений, включил в нём все функции приёма - передачи, сделал несколько видео записей, фото, смотрел клипы, посмотрел два фильма в Full HD один продолжительностью 1 час 27 минут, второй 1 час 32 минуты и вот только сейчас в 23 часа 58 минут смартфон отключился, то есть через 9 с половиной часов при полной нагрузке. Забыл когда я его включил после распаковки прилетело обновление. Комплектация полная. Спасибо продавцу и GearBest. К плюсам могу отнести отличная сборку, отличную автономность, отличный экран и производительность.

Качество видео и фото не очень хорошее, нет функции NFS.

I've just brought this unit, on the 5th arrival on 14 witch is good, cause gear best better shipment with DHL HK, in this case I've pay more around 108 USD if you rate it is IND (Rp )1.538.500 Rupiah for the commercial invoice issues 100USD and it is not good for me, please next time if I'm ordering something don't declared 100USD causes it effect on the government Tax issues, it should be under 100 USD ... please kindly reply for gear best for this issues

The device is really gorgeous, has a great color, like the images. Has a great usability and a very nice handle. The levels of brightness are excellent, the screen resolution is awesome, watching some YouTube videos gave me goosebumps. The sound it's a little strident, but also has quality.
The Umidigi UI is nice, but for those who are pure Android fans, it will not be a good experience.
Finally, the smartphone is extremely excellent for the price, no regrets buying this device!

For 250€ a smartphone with 129 GB ROM, 6 GB RAM and 5100 mAh Battery, plus 6"- FHD-Screen is already quite impressive. The screen is awsome - even its not real beezel less.
In addition there is to mention that this phone has no bugs - except of some necessary improvements for camera and performance which are needed. There are only a few bloatware apps.
Overall I am very happy with the purchase. For this price a decent phone.

I hope they will improve the camera and the performance with coming OTA

It's OK for the price. There some issues with the software being very slow uploading some apps, video calling not very clear at all very choppy, camera not good enough for the price, finger print sensor does not work always. On the plus side, good battery, good design, comes with nice case. I will propably stay away from umidigi for a while till they get certain things right hence the price. You can get better and more reliable phone in this price range than this one.
