5G Dual-mode Mobile Phones - Redmi K30, Vivo X30 and OPPO Reno 3 Are Coming After Huawei Honor V30

5G promises to connect everything, and 2019 is the beginning of the 5G era. Now more and more manufacturers are involved in the 5G smartphone field. On November 26, the Honor V30 series, claiming to be the "5G benchmark", was released officially.

The Huawei Honor V30 series runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset, and the entire system supports dual-mode 5G (SA / NSA) modem. The Honor V30 is at a reasonable price, starting at 3299 RMB.

Although the Honor V30 series is featured with many highlights, the slogan like "5G benchmark" will make other manufacturers quite unhappy. Honor V30 series has come vigorously, how can other manufacturers face with it? Today we will take a look at several upcoming 5G mobile phones.

Redmi K30

The two mobile phone manufacturers, Xiaomi Redmi and Huawei Honor, are old rivals. And they are always intensely competitive. You are the "5G benchmark" and I am the "5G pioneer".

The Redmi VP and General Manager Lu Weibing made a high-profile announcement of defeating the "benchmark" of Honor V30 series, which reveals that both Redmi K30 and Honor V30 are designed with a hole-punch display and dual front camera.

Likewise, Redmi K30 also supports dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA). So it is the first hole-punch display and dual-mode 5G smartphone for Xiaomi.

Rumors have it that Redmi K30 will arrive with Qualcomm's dual-mode 5G chipset, and the K30 Pro may be equipped with the newly released MediaTek Dimensity 1000.

If the K30 Pro is equipped with this chipset, it would be launched next year. Let's stay tuned to the latest official news.

Recently, some news leaks that Xiaomi is testing a 120Hz screen refresh rate, and many users expect that the high refresh rate of mobile phones can become increasingly popular. It's still in doubt that if the Redmi K30 series boasts a high refresh rate.

Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, announced that at least ten 5G mobile phones would be released next year. Xiaomi said: "Xiaomi is pushing ahead with the research and development of 5G mobile phones.

Our investment in research and development is constantly increasing, and the expenses in the third quarter increased with a year-on-year growth rate of 32.5%."

Vivo X30

Vivo X series is always the hottest in the offline market. This time the first dual-mode 5G mobile phone of Vivo X series - Vivo X30 is finally coming.

Vivo X30 will debut the Exynos 980 chip. Exynos 980 supports dual-mode 5G (NSA&SA) connectivity, which is jointly developed by Vivo and Samsung. And Exynos 980 adopts the latest Cortex-A77 architecture.

The Cortex-A77 CPU cores are touted to deliver a 20% performance increase over the Cortex-A76 cores and integrate a Mali-G76 MP5 GPU.

Meanwhile, Vivo X30 is equipped with a super-telephoto periscope and offers up to 60x zooming capabilities.

As for the front camera, the Vivo X30 series will adopt a small aperture star-eye screen, similar to the Vivo S5. The front-facing camera can be embedded in the status bar, for both aesthetics and high screen-to-body ratio.

Vivo X30 will be officially launched in December.

OPPO Reno 3

At the ColorOS 7 launch, OPPO confirmed that the upcoming OPPO Reno 3 5G smartphone would be launched in December.

OPPO Vice President and President of Global Marketing Brian Shen Yiren recently revealed a poster of OPPO Reno3 PRO.

A first look at OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G – it will feature a dual 3D glass body on the front and back with a thickness of just 7.7mm (excluding the raised camera), which may be the thinnest dual-mode 5G phone in its price segment.

OPPO Reno 3 will be equipped with a Qualcomm 7 series dual-mode 5G chipset and pre-installed a new ColorOS 7.

Therefore, for the above three upcoming dual-mode 5G mobile phones – Redmi K30, Vivo X30 and OPPO Reno 3, which do you expect more?

Not only mobile phones but also the mobile phone chips are in booming development. In the 4G era, most manufacturers have chosen Qualcomm's solution, but in the 5G era, there is a rapid rise of Samsung and MediaTek. And we believe that the chip industry will be full of innovation and competition in the future.
