How To Vlog With ZenFone 6 Flip Camera

Vlogging is a million-dollar venture, but if done right and a vlogger should have a story to tell and a good video camera. They should also be able to grab every opportunity presenting the stories.

To be a professional vlogger, you should have a good camera, and you can use Asus Zenfone 6.

The device has a flip camera which plays the role of the back camera and the selfie camera. Asus ZenFone 6 is going to be one of the most successful flagships from the Tech company since the phone is one of the best for vloggers. I’m having a good time with Asus Zenfone 6.

Know Camera Features At First

The camera module of the fabulous Asus ZenFone 6 is hung comfortably on top of the device and stowed on the back. The camera is capable of rotating 180 degrees and features two cameras with the LED flash in the middle of them.  Do you see the advantage in that?

The primary idea of creating a flip camera is to prevent a selfie camera from encroaching on the display. Samsung resulted in incorporating the camera inside the screen, while some devices put the cameras on top of the screen, while others settled with the pop-up camera.

Asus ZenFone features a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera with f/1.79 aperture and a 13MP wide-angle camera. The good thing about the flip camera is that I can take advantage of the incredible front-facing lenses and enjoy the features that are normally built for rear-facing cameras.

Why Do You Need The Flip Camera To Vlog?

Most people have smartphones on their sides, but not all phones have great cameras to vlog. Currently, one of the best is the Asus ZenFone 6 flip camera which can allow me to take photos from different angles. Your vlogging career deserves a camera that puts you on top!

By the way, what’s a Vlog? It’s a blog with a video. You can change your blog to a vlog easily by just recording a video and embedding it within your post. All you need to have is a YouTube account for streaming, and you are good to go.

How Do You Vlog With The Cameras?

So, how do you vlog with ZenFone 6 Flip Camera? It’s quite easy. Here are the steps.

1. Hit Record and Rehearse

Find a well-lit position, go to your camera, flip it in selfie position, record a video, and preview it, which is to familiarize yourself with the camera features. It’s not even the right time to upload the video on YouTube. Learn the basics first, like setting the timer and blur settings.

Also, learn to edit your videos so that you can edit out anything that doesn’t please you. There’s always an app for that. It will also help you shorten the videos and pick what is more relevant.

2. Now Find the Accessories

There are a couple of things you need in your vlogging career. When I got my hands on Asus ZenFone 6, I noticed that it had a high-quality mouthpiece. But since I had to hang it on a tripod stand, I had to find an alternative. I bought a mic. You need to purchase one as well, and a tripod stand.

ZenFone 6 flip camera captures clear videos, but you have to position yourself three steps or more away unless you want the camera to capture your face alone. That’s a distance your hand can’t reach. That’s why I went for a tripod stand.

A tripod stand has three legs, and it ensures that you take still and steady videos. You can get a tripod stand at $30. You just have to clip your Asus ZenFone 6 on the mount and organize your audio and mic.

Talking of mics and audios, they are very vital in vlogging. I once did a video with my iPhone and without them, and it came out horrible. There was too much echo in the room. For ZenFone 6, I feel like it’s doing better, but it’s the camera that turns me on. There’s no better phone for vlogging.

Find a Bluetooth earpiece or headphones that come with an inbuilt mic. You will be able to stay comfortable while recording your videos. I bought my headphones at $50.

3. Now Record and Upload

After I had all these ready, I believed I was set to go. I visited my most recent blog, took notes, and summarized the topic.

After memorizing what I was supposed to say, I connected my amazing Asus ZenFone 6 with a flip camera to my Bluetooth headphones, set the tripod stand, and when I was ready, I clicked the timer.

It's incredible how ZenFone’s camera records. They do a better job than most DSLRs. Every smile, every wink, and even every spot on each butterfly that passes around are captured. You only have to go the camera app, change to video, and record.

After editing and some few touches, I uploaded the three-minute video on YouTube, and I can say that it’s doing well with thousands of views. So, what are you waiting for? Get yourself an Asus ZenFone 6 and see what I’m talking about.

The Asus ZenFone 6 has more features apart from the flip camera. It has 64GB internal storage and a memory card slot where you can slide in a microSD card. That gives you more space to store your media.

It also has a 5000mAh battery that guarantees you an endless recording, one of the reasons I considered buying it. The phone retails at $500, which is a great deal. I have one and no regrets at all!
