Huawei Confirmed the Release of Mate Xs on MWC 2020 and Huawei P40 Series in Next March

This year, as one of the few brands selling the foldable phone, Huawei has gained a lot of attention thanks to the Huawei Mate X.

The products had been sold out within seconds many times after the official sales, which proves that people are curious about the foldable phone.

However, before the official launch of Huawei Mate X, it is said that Huawei had an upgraded version of the foldable phone to be launched.

Although this upgraded version has not yet hit the market, according to the latest news, it is not far from the official debut.

According to the media report, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, stated that Huawei would launch the upgraded version of Huawei Mate X at MWC 2020 next year.

Meanwhile, the upgraded version will have a superior hinge design, a better foldable screen, and an upgraded processor.

In other words, Huawei will bring a better-designed foldable phone powered by the latest Kirin 990 5G SoC.

This upgraded smartphone is called the Huawei Mate Xs.

Besides, Huawei also suggested that the foldable phone will be sold in Europe. Still, it is unclear whether the Huawei Mate X or the upgraded Huawei Mate Xs will be launched.

In addition to the upgraded foldable phone, Huawei will mass-produce the Huawei P40 series next year. The new series was disclosed in the interview.

Yu Chengdong suggested that the Huawei P40 series would be released in Paris next March. However, the specific launch time has not yet been finalized.

In terms of more details, the brand-new Huawei P40 series will adopt an "unprecedented" design, and the camera capabilities and performance will all be further promoted.

At the same time, as for the widely concerned operating system, the Huawei P40 series will run the EMUI based on Android in coordination with Huawei Mobile Services HMS. In other words, the Harmony OS will not be used for the time being.

In addition to these official disclosures, the previous news also mentioned that Huawei P40 Pro would use graphene battery technology to increase battery life while maintaining the compact size for the thinness and lightness of Huawei smartphones.

Moreover, there will be more relevant news before the release time, and interested users might as well wait patiently.
