1. M2 bulbs must be used with a gateway that supports Bluetooth mesh. Such as: Yeelight gateway(mesh version); Xiaomi Mijia multi-mode gateway; yeelight voice assistant, etc.. The gateway is purchased separately.


2. If you want to add M2 bulbs to Apple Homekit, a Yeelight gateway (mesh version) is required. The gateway is purchased separately.


3. If you use the Mi Home app, it requires to set the Mi Home app's region to Mainland China before adding M2 light bulbs.


The advantages of MESH equipment compared to Wi-Fi equipment.

● MESH devices are connected through a mesh gateway. Even if many MESH devices are connected to network through mesh gateway at the same time, they will not occupy too much bandwidth and do not affect the response speed; Wi-Fi devices can be directly connected to your home network, but the more Wi-Fi devices connected, the more bandwidth, the slower the response speed.
